Why Tiger Woods hasn't been seen in public - from an inside source.

A so-called “reliable source,” says the real reason Tiger Woods hasn’t been seen is that he’s recovering from plastic surgery to repair the damage to his face.
Facial Damage Sustained
The source reports that after being hit in the face with a golf club by his wife, Elin Nordegren during the Thanksgiving holiday (see Part 2 of this article to find out how the “reliable source” says this actually happened) Tiger supposedly sustained the following injuries:
• the loss of 2 teeth (which explains early reports that Tiger was bleeding from the mouth)
• a large gash on his face near the nose, which caused bruising to his nose
• a broken facial bone on the upper right side of his face
Cosmetic Surgery to Repair the Damage
According to the source – who has yet to be identified – Tiger’s agent Mark Steinberg arranged for a private plane to fly Tiger to an undisclosed location in Phoenix, Arizona to have the damage to his face and teeth repaired.
After Tiger was released from the hospital, he and his agent supposedly flew to Phoenix, Arizona to see a cosmetic dentist and plastic surgeon recommended by a doctor at the hospital in Orlando, Florida.
The “reliable source” further reports that apparently the surgery turned out to be more extensive than they’d anticipated, which was why Tiger was unavailable for questioning by the police after the crash.
Supposedly, he was still in Arizona, and did not return until late the following Wednesday night or early the following Thursday morning.
No Public Appearances for a Month or More
According to the “reliable source,” it will be at least another month or so before Tiger will be ready to appear in on camera or make a public statement of any kind. Apprently he's waiting for his face to heal.
Is This Report True or Is It a Hoax?
So far, no one has been able to confirm the identity of the “reliable source” other than to say that the individual is a journalist who supposedly lives near Tiger Woods, and has inside knowledge of these events.
No one seems to be able to verify the information given, or locate the original source. One other person who wrote about it raised the possibility that the story may be a hoax. What do you think?

While Tiger is getting facial surgery he might as well get a "Lobotomy" to cure his stupidity
He needs to be castrated...I can see a rat getting bigger and bigger...trying to blame all of this on Elin. She takes care of his children and he is out screwing around with all those trashy women...and he has money...and money will make all this go away for him...but not Elin. She will end up being the bad guy. He is a total jerk. Someone needs to cut off his wee-wee.
This is just some garbage story planted by Tiger's handlers to get him sympathy and throw his wife under the bus.
If he had to get surgery for his face and teeth, then why all the secrecy up until now. I would think he'd want that story out to get the sympathy of his "adoring" fans. After all, the injuries "must have" been the result of the car accident, a totally innocent event. How else could he have gotten injured? Sorry, HOAX!
Sharon, why suggest such a violent act. Should women who are cheating on their husbands have their breasts lopped off too? Take an Ambien!
Here we go, lets blame the wife for everything...get a life people. Tiger stated that it was his fault entirely. He is a jackass and he deserves everthing that is being thrown at him.

I think that the letter posted recently is a publicity stunt created by Tiger's team to present him as a victim and as a way to explain his disappearance since the scandal broke up. They are trying to protect the "Tiger brand" at all cost after the media is reporting that Tiger's stocks are down everywhere. The paramedics and the neighbors stated that Tiger had a bloody lip, not the injuries of the magnitude reported on this letter. Tiger’s team is trying to set the way for Tiger’s comeback in 2010 as a victim, not as the offender he is, but the public will not buy it! Tiger has disgraced himself as a husband and as a father.
The true victims on all this are: Elin Nordegren and her two small children. I hope that someday Elin Nordegren will find a good and decent man that will respect and love her and the children. A man that could be a better father figure and role model to the children than Tiger Woods
You know I am so tired of hearing everybody giving Tiger the pity party! I would like everyone of you taking up for him to put yourself in his wife's shoes and how would you feel if the person you loved and assumed was your entire future cheated on you with as many as 14 different people, with several showing proof of the affair. You can bash me all you want but the voice mail was all the proof Elin needed.... If he wasn't cheating then why call her and leave that, you know it was his voice on it. I myself was a victim of domestic violence for over 11 years before I got out, so I don't condone it for anything but if Tiger cheated with 14 women and actually risked Elin's life for a good time regardless of the death sentence he could have and may have given her then to each his own. He needs more then what people are saying she did to him with the golf if his unprotected sex harmed her in anyway then he should be held accountable.....
