Tiger Woods sponsor Tag Heuer states “stands with Tiger Woods.” After announcing Friday that they would scale back their support for Tiger Woods, Tag Heuer made a bold statement Monday night by placing an ad on their front page that stated: “Tag Heuer stands with Tiger Woods.”
Tag Heuer is a Swiss watchmaker who pays Tiger Woods a reported $2 million dollars a year. Just one week ago, Tag Heuer had this statement in support of Woods on their website:
"His personal obsession with results and perfection, his ability to withstand pressure, to meet expectations and exceed them, but also his love of discipline -- all this makes him a natural partner for the brand."
Now, Tag Heuer seems to be featuring Tiger Woods more significantly than before. Tiger Woods still appears on the websites of Gillette, EA Sports and Nike. The Tag Heuer ad though is the most prominent of all Tiger Woods ads still in existence.
