Tiger Woods has been spending a lot time alone, in seclusion. Many fans are wondering where Tiger Woods is, and what he has been doing. Woods hasn’t been seen out in public at all since the Thanksgiving weekend car accident and hospital stay. He has been in seclusion, watching cartoons, eating cereal and hitting golf balls at night. He hasn’t contacted his friends, according to a Fox News report Friday.
“He goes after dark so he can't be seen," a source told US Weekly. "For him, what's more therapeutic than hitting golf balls, the thing he's best at in the whole world?"
Woods friends are concerned that what he is doing is very unhealthy, and they want to speak to him, but he changed his phone number, Charles Barkley said. Barkley told HLN that right now Tiger Woods needs to be around his friends, his friends who have been through something similar who can understand.
"I've been trying to get to him and can't. It's very frustrating," Barkley said. "Hey, man, we love you. If you need anything, pick up the phone."
Wednesday, it was reported that Tiger Woods wife, Elin Nordegren left their Florida home and moved out.
Tiger Woods has been under intense media focus for the past two and a half weeks. A few days before Thanksgiving, the National Enquirer released a story about an alleged affair of Tiger Woods and Rachel Uchitel, and the story didn’t get much fan attention until after Woods crashed his car the day after Thanksgiving. Then multiple stories of Tiger Woods alleged affairs appeared and women came out with statements. Tiger Woods released a statement on Friday stating that he is quitting golf indefinitely, and that he needs to spend time with his family. To read Woods complete statement, click here.
A few days later Jaimee Grubbs came forward with her story of an affair with Woods, and she offered proof with a voicemail from Tiger Woods and over 300 text messages from him. Tiger Woods had his third knee surgery in Park City, Utah on April 15, 2008, and took two months off. He was determined to play in the US Open and win...which he did on June 14, 2008, much to everyone's amazement less than two months after his knee surgery. He was in pain during the US Open, as shown in this Associated Press photo. After the US Open, Tiger Woods took additional time off to let his knee heal.
