Tiger Woods rumors of Elin leaving and divorce. Tiger Woods wife, Elin was seen on Monday at a gas station without her wedding ring, and rumors of a divorce between Elin and Tiger Woods arose. There are several hundred photos of Elin wearing that ring over the past five years, and this is the first photo found in which she isn’t wearing it. The Sun reported Monday that a friend of Elin’s said that she is putting on a brave face, but hurting terribly.
LA Late and Radar Online reported Sunday that Tiger Woods wife, Elin has sought the advice of a divorce attorney, and plans to divorce Tiger Woods after Christmas, and then she plans to move to Sweden.
According to the reports, Elin plans to stay through Christmas so that the children have a normal Christmas. The reports state that Elin is not in a rush to file for divorce, and that money is not her primary concern.
The Associated Press reported Friday that Elin recently purchased a home in Sweden for $2.2 million dollars and that she had initially began the purchase earlier this year. To see a photo of the home and property, click here.
Woods has been under intense media focus for the past two and a half weeks. A few days before Thanksgiving, the National Enquirer released a story about an alleged affair of Tiger Woods and Rachel Uchitel, and the story didn’t get much fan attention until after Woods crashed his car the day after Thanksgiving. Then multiple stories of Tiger Woods alleged affairs appeared and women came out with statements. A few days later Jaimee Grubbs came forward with her story of an affair with Woods, and she offered proof with a voicemail from Tiger Woods and over 300 text messages from him. Tiger Woods had his third knee surgery in Park City, Utah on April 15, 2008, and took two months off. He was determined to play in the US Open and win...which he did on June 14, 2008, much to everyone's amazement less than two months after his knee surgery. He was in pain during the US Open, as shown in this Associated Press photo. After the US Open, Tiger Woods took additional time off to let his knee heal.
