Tiger Woods has been the face of golf ever since he stepped on the scene. Never has a sport been so identified with one person - in recent years, anyway. Some of Woods' friends Charles Barkley and Spike Lee has expressed concern for their friend who finds himself amid a large scandal, and turbulent time.
According to CNN, Barkley said: "I think when you have these fires in your life, as I call them, you need to talk to somebody else who is famous who [has] been through things in their life. I don't think you can talk about it to your family and friends, because your family and friends, they're not famous."
Spike Lee, another friend to Tiger Woods expressed: "He's insulated. If Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan can't get to him, and those are his boys, then other people are making bad moves."
In other Woods news, a former doctor, Dr. Anthony Galea, who had previously treated Woods after knee surgery is being investigated by the FBI for claims of distributing a type of steroid, HGH. RadarOnline reports, that according to the New York Times, "Galea was taken into custody October 15 in Toronto by Canadian police, after he was found carrying human growth hormone (HGH) and Actovegin in his bag at the border of the U.S. and Canada in September."
