Tag Heuer announced Friday that they are scaling back their sponsorship of Tiger Woods, after announcing their support for him just a week ago. Tag Heuer is a Swiss watchmaker who pays Tiger Woods a reported $2 million dollars a year. Just one week ago, Tag Heuer had this statement in support of Woods on their website:
"His personal obsession with results and perfection, his ability to withstand pressure, to meet expectations and exceed them, but also his love of discipline -- all this makes him a natural partner for the brand."
Tag Heuer had a commercial in which Woods spoke about his values, along with some other celebrities. In this video Woods said, "We all make decisions. In the end our decisions define us." "My name is Tiger Woods and I share Tag Heuer's values."
In a statement released Friday, Tag Heuer stated:
"The partnership with Tiger Woods will continue but we will downscale the use of his image in certain markets for a period of time, depending on his decision about returning to professional golf. We will continue to actively support the Tiger Woods Foundation."
Several other sponsors have either scaled back advertising that includes Woods, or stopped their sponsorship completely. Gillette announced a week ago that they were scaling back its advertising that included Woods. Accenture announced that they were going in a different direction, and dropped Woods after six years of sponsorship.

Elin should dump Tiger, and let him join Amway, along with his "girlfriends", as Amway also screws anything that moves. Amway is a scam, and here's why: Amway pays out as little money as they can get away with, so they support the higher level IBOs ripping off their downline via the tool scam. As a result, about 99% of IBOs operate at a net loss, while the top 1% make several TIMES more from their Amway tool scam than from the Amway products. Read about it on my blog, I suggest you start here: Google "Amway the rest of the story" and forward the information to everyone you know, so they don't get scammed.
