Tiger Woods is headed for drug and sex rehab; Woods mother upset with him. Tiger Woods has reportedly checked himself into a rehab for drug and sex addition, according to a report from the Daily Beast. Sex addiction is the term used for many public figures that have been caught cheating or looking at porn. The list of public figures that fit this category is long: David Duchovny, Eliot Spitzer, Peter Cook (Christie Brinkley’s x-husband), and Steve Phillips from ESPN, among others.
Many people and fans of Tiger Woods predicted that this would eventually be the end result of the publicity Woods has had over the past 3 weeks after rumors of numerous affairs. Many people are asking if sex addiction will be the real diagnosis, or just a need to repair the public image?
The Daily Beast interviewed Nancy Irwin, a Los Angeles psychotherapist who treats sexual dysfunctions and sex addicts. There are different types of sex addicts; it may include porn addicts, chronic masturbators, or people who have sex with the wrong people including bosses or strangers.
“When any or several of these negatively impact one's normal functionality at work, in relationships, life, sleep, health,” says Irwin, “one may be a sex addict.”
Irwin said that sometimes it isn’t the sex they find enjoyable, but the chase or the conquest. Or perhaps they are trying to fill a void with a person, or drugs or alcohol.
Friday, a family friend told People.com that Tiger Woods' mother, Kutilda Woods, is "hurt, angry and disappointed in Tiger," according to a family friend. "She wants to know how he could do this to his family."
The friend said that Kutilda "loves [Tiger] and will support him through anything, but she needs some time to work through this," People.com reported. For more on that story, click here.
Tiger Woods wife, Elin reportedly moved out of their Florida home this week, and stopped wearing her wedding ring. She has told friends that the marriage is over, but she plans to take her time in pursuing the divorce. Elin recently purchase a house in Sweden and would like to take the children there for the holidays without Tiger Woods.

Then multiple stories of Tiger Woods alleged affairs appeared and women came out with statements.

Tiger Woods had his third knee surgery in Park City, Utah on April 15, 2008, and took two months off. He was determined to play in the US Open and win...which he did on June 14, 2008, much to everyone's amazement less than two months after his knee surgery. He was in pain during the US Open, as shown in this Associated Press photo. After the US Open, Tiger Woods took additional time off to let his knee heal.

Please people give it a rest already! Everyone is acting like Tiger Woods is the only man out here that has ever cheated on his wife! Truth be known half of you out here putting him down have probably done the same thing at some point- you were just lucky enough to not get caught! In case none of you have noticed- we have more important thing's to worry about in this world than who is sleeping with who! When was the last time any of you spent this much time worrying about people liveing in the street's or the hungry?
Out of curiosity, what is that lame line about the first person who cheated? Is that supposed to be a pass for all the others who make a conscious choice to potentially ruin their families and hurt their spouses and children immensely? You do not get bonus points for doing the right thing, you are just supposed to do the right thing, conversely, you don't get pity for being a total loser! Maybe when people start to be accountable for their actions, they will not be so newsworthy!!!! Rehab - another excuse for being shameless.
