Tiger Woods has confirmed what the world, and what some perhaps didn't want to believe. In a statement, Woods admitted to infidelity, and now one of his alleged mistresses, Jamie Jungers says that she was with Woods, when he received the news that his father passed away.
Jungers told the News of the World: "I was beside," when he received the news of his father's passing - according to Us Magazine. She alleges that she was by his side. She continued: "Tiger looked utterly devastated and didn't say a word. He didn't even cry but I could tell he was heartbroken," she recounts. "I told him, 'I'm so sorry' and gave him a hug. I didn't want to be in the way so I arranged a flight home to Vegas."
While details such as these continue to emerge, Nike has spoken out in Woods' support. They issued a statement saying that the golfer had their "full support." Nike said: "Tiger has been part of Nike for more than a decade. He is the best golfer in the world and one of the greatest athletes of his era. We look forward to his return to golf."
Gillette, however, has decided for the time being to limit Woods' role in their marketing ads. The company said: "We support him as he takes a break from his professional career and that's why we're supporting him by limiting his role in our marketing programs." Nortan added: "The exposure of Tiger in the ads will be limited but beyond that, if he was the focus of the ad, then we won't be using that ad."
