Now that Tiger Woods has admitted infidelity he has announced an indefinite hiatus from golf to focus on his marriage. Many wonder how his career will hold up should the leave be longer than brief. Already sponsors are stating that they are assessing their relationship with Woods and Gillette has pulled the golfers television ads. How long the fallout from Tiger’s scandal will last is anyone’s guess but there’s one thing for sure, the golf world will anxiously await Tiger’s return. How things will work between Tiger and Elin, however, is another issue.
Infidelity is a strong betrayal and can permanently destroy all trust in a relationship. That isn’t to say, however, that Tiger and Elin cannot make amends and fix their marriage. Elin Woods has purchased a home in Sweden and reports state that both she and Tiger are traveling there together on the couple’s yacht. If Tiger Woods does have a sexual addiction, it will take more than a secluded romantic get-away to fix and repair the couple’s marriage.
Dr. Drew of the VH1 television show “Sex Rehab” stated that he believed Tiger Woods may very well be a sex addict. He said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, “It's safe to say that sex addiction might be a part of his problem. I thought this guy was different. Celebrities have a very high probability of having issues in their interpersonal lives and it turns out he may be no different than many celebrities and athletes."
Dr. Drew also stated that he believed the couple could overcome the infidelity and repair their marriage, however it will take counseling. “Find a way to recommit to your marriage and get some help," he offered the advice to Tiger. "Do so with the knowledge that the outcomes can be very, very good.” Dr. Drew said.
Many fans have posted messages of prayer and support for the couple’s marriage on the official Tiger Woods’ website.

At this point, who cares??? I sure don't. I never liked golf either to begin with.
I think he did a terrible mistake to think that he will do what ever he can to lie to his wife and men/women like him have disrespect to their loved ones deserves to be humiliated. How could a guy like him can't think straight to hurt his beautiful wife and children with this... And most important doesn't matter what he does he will never take this hurt away from that beautiful wife of his. I think she should never forgive him because mistake happens once twice but not this many hidden life and lies that came out as a conincidence what would happen if it didn't come out? he would probably continue to cheat and lie to people yes it's his life but when you involve in a family or relationship you have obligations and you have responsiblities there is no buts or facts about it... you have to keep your promises or talk out if you have any issues so person in a relationship with you could know and don't continue to be hurt as treated like a dumb... its the worst feeling ever to feel!!!!
Nelly - would you feel the same way about someone's mother who is an alcoholic - my mum had a problem and as kids growing up - we got caught in the middle of all the mess that alcoholism comes with. We got hurt time and time again - does that mean that i should never forgive my mum? Not at all - she had a problem - it happened hundreds of times but it was something she could not control - perhaps Tiger has similar issues with sex - who knows but to gun for the guy like this is total crap! He has single handidly changed the face of golf as we know it - no ifs and or buts. Give him a break - we put the spot light on him - we said he was god - we as a public did all this - he's just a bloke like me - only he has a billon dollars - i'm sure he doesn't have to go and find women - women will throw themselves on him and its only so many times you can say no - until you mess up.
Give him the chance to sort his family and himself out - with the right guidance and help - he'll be better

I think this whole thing is blown out of proportion. I bet 70% of those who said negative things about Tiger's character are themselves doing the same thing as Tiger. Because Tiger is just human, if he can not get what he can get in his home, then what is the problem of having some fun outside the house, as long as he does not abandon his love for his children and wife? Men have been fooling around for centuries, they are not going to change. As long as he did not abandon his responsibility as husband to his wife and father to his children, I think these type of affairs are not going away.Please accept this is the fact of life.
