Tiger Woods’ ex-wife Elin Nordegren, 33, is reportedly dating her North Palm Beach neighbor, 53 year-old coal magnate Chris Cline. The New York Post reports today that the two have been “quietly” dating since the holidays. Former Swedish model Elin Nordegren leveled the house she shared with Tiger and built a new mansion on the same spot, which is just down the street from her new billionaire boyfriend in the oceanfront community of Seminole Landing. Woods is also said to be getting more serious with skier Lindsey Vonn.
“Elin and Chris have been dating since the holidays,” a source tells Page Six. West Virginia native Chris Cline, worth a reported $1.2 billion, prefers to stay far from the spotlight.
Chances are he’s not going to be crazy about his relationship with Elin being splashed across the tabloid headlines, especially given her tumultuous past following her nasty split from Tiger in 2009.
Cline, a father of four, ended his second marriage back in 2000, according to Extra. He made headlines last year when he was victim of a bizarre extortion plot against him and several other high profile targets, including movie mogul Harvey Weinstein.
Meanwhile, Tiger Woods docked his ultra-luxurious yacht “Privacy” in the same exact spot this past weekend as he did when he shared it with former wife Elin, as he competed in the WGC-Cadillac Championship.
Tiger, 37, won the event Sunday while playing some of his best golf ever, but his guest on his water mansion this year was new love interest, 28 year-old Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn.
Us Weekly reports Tiger and Lindsey first met at a charity event in April 2012, but their relationship didn’t take a romantic until November.
They are apparently growing closer however, as in February Woods sent his private jet to transport Vonn to a hospital for treatment after she injured her leg in a skiing competition.
Woods and Vonn are said to have set sail in Florida waters after Tiger won the tournament this past weekend.
