Susan Jackson released a statement on Tiger Woods car accident. Media reports first stated that Tiger Woods was in serious condition, as reported by the Florida Highway Patrol. Later reports indicated that Tiger Woods only suffered facial lacerations. “This is a joint statement from Tiger Woods’ office and Health Central Hospital. Tiger Woods was in a minor car accident outside his home last night. He was admitted, treated, and released today in good condition. That’s it, “said Health Central Hospital spokesperson, Susan Jackson.
When a reporter asked Susan Jackson what condition Tiger Woods was in, she reiterated that he was in good condition. This is in definite contrast to the earlier reports that stated Tiger Woods was in serious condition. She also declined to comment on Tiger Woods’ specific injuries. She did state that he arrived at the hospital last night, but didn’t state the specific time. According to reports, Tiger Woods crashed his Cadillac SUV at approximately 2:25 p.m. The Health Central Hospital spokeswoman also declined to state the exact time that Tiger Woods was released from the hospital but again stated that he was released in good condition.
Florida Highway Patrol spoke with Tiger Woods in the hospital and questioned him. It is believed that the Florida Highway Patrol also went to Woods’ Windermere, Florida home to continue their investigation. Though reports state that charges are possible, the FHP stated that alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
