It has been announced today that the Tiger Woods car accident 911 call will not be released until at least Monday. You may view a copy of the Florida Highway Patrol press release below. The press release by the Florida Highway Patrol states that the Tiger Woods car accident occurred at 2:25 a.m. on 6432 Deacon Circle and Deacon Court. The crash investigator was Trooper Evans, the driver was Eldrick Tiger Woods (Tiger Woods) male, age 33. The press release listed the injuries as serious, because according to Florida Highway Patrol protocol, any injury that requires hospital attention is classified as serious. Tiger Woods was taken to Health Central Hospital and alcohol was not involved.

The Florida Highway Patrol report states that the accident occurred when Tiger Woods pulled out of his driveway located at 6348 Deacon Circle and hit a fire hydrant. He then hit a tree located in his neighbor’s yard at 6342 Deacon Circle. According to the report filed yesterday, the crash is under investigation and charges are pending.

Police attempted to continue their investigation by speaking with Tiger Woods yesterday but was told by his wife, Elin Nordegren Woods, that he was asleep. Police are scheduled to return to Tiger Woods’ home today and continue their investigation.

It has been difficult to separate truth from rumor and speculation in the Tiger Woods car accident case. Besides the initial reporting that Tiger Woods was in serious condition, giving the impression that he was in critical condition, reports quickly stated that Tiger Woods was released from the hospital in good condition. Other factors that have drawn confusion to the case and reports stem from an alleged National Enquirer report that Tiger Woods was having an affair with Rachel Uchitel.

There is no record of the National Enquirer story online, nor is there one at Star Magazine. If you search ‘TMZ Tiger Woods’ you’ll find an alleged story pointing to domestic violence and an affair. The report states a source who claims that Tiger Woods’ wife scratched her husband’s face during a domestic argument. However, police reports state that Tiger Woods sustained lacerations to his upper and bottom lip and that his mouth was full of blood. He was also reportedly losing and regaining consciousness when paramedics arrived at the scene. Though photos of Tiger Woods’ injuries have not yet been released, the description is not consistent with facial scratches.

It is possible that the Tiger Woods 911 call will be made public on Monday.
