There is something suspicious about how quickly the Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn romance surfaced on the heels of Tiger Woods supposedly hoping to re-marry his ex-wife Elin Nordegren. Today, Jan. 25, 2013, Us Magazine reported: “Lindsey Vonn: Tiger Woods and I Are "Just Friends.” The question I posed in "Tiger Woods dating Lindsey Vonn squashes ex-Elin love story (Video)" was this: Is the alleged romance between Woods and Vonn a media diversion tactic so Woods can put his energy into wooing his ex once again? In reality, only time will tell. But consider the timing of it all and the sources.
The source for the Elin reconcilation came from the National Enquirer. Despite it’s being viewed as a sensational tabloid, it is the publication that broke the Woods’ mistress scandal. And this same publication turned the John Edwards world upside down.
The report about Vonn and Woods comes from the often slapped down by Gossip Cop – Hollywood Life. And based on this report from the Huffington Post today, they got the ski instructor part wrong. Hollywood Life claimed that Vonn taught Tiger’s children.

Vonn dismissed the Woods rumors last month, telling the Denver Post, “We are just friends. My brother was the ski instructor for his kids this November in Vail. Guessing that’s where it came from.”

The Tiger and Elin tale
What makes a possible reconciliation between Tiger and Elin so believable is that in January 2010 sources were saying that the two wanted to work things out and MSNBC reported that reconciliation was still possible.
They said, “Tiger and Elin still love each other,” according to a person close to the couple. “Although there is talk of divorce, and anyone can see there is a lot of work to do, they would both like to work this out.”Tiger Woods
