After months of relationship speculations, Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn have confirmed they are actually dating, reports claimed Monday, March 18.
The pair has been spotted together numerous times in the last few months, and admitted they were good friends. However, People magazine is now reporting that Tiger and Lindsey are indeed an item and are dating each other.
Romance rumors fueled up when Tiger sent his private jet to take Lindsay to her home in Colorado after she suffered a bad leg injury at the Alpine World Championships in Austria.
The confirmation confessionals came from both the professional golf player and the Olympic skier, when they each displayed the news on their respective websites Monday afternoon. They even posted the same photo of themselves posing together "a la engagement-style."
"I guess it wasn't a well-kept secret but yes, I am dating Tiger Woods," Lindsay, 28, wrote on her page, "Our relationship evolved from a friendship into something more over these past few months and it has made me very happy."
Meanwhile, Tiger, 37, wrote on his website: "Something nice that's happened off the course was meeting Lindsey Vonn. Lindsey and I have been friends for some time, but over the last few months we have become very close and are now dating."
The embattled golfer went on to add that he thanks everyone for their support and for respecting their privacy. "We want to continue our relationship, privately, as an ordinary couple and continue to compete as athletes."
Good luck to the new couple! We shall see how long the relationship lasts before any possible controversial cheating scandals arise...
