Neighbors of Tiger Woods say the injuries he sustained early on Friday, November 27, were consistent with being in a minor car accident and that they saw nothing to indicate domestic violence. There have been unconfirmed reports that Woods' injuries were the result of him being attacked by his wife Elin Nordegren after she confronted him with tabloid reports of an affair between him and Rachel Uchitel.
A lawyer for the neighbors Jermome and Linda Adams spoke to reporters at a press conference on Tuesday. Attorney Bill Sharpe said the couple went out to see what happened just after the crash. They saw Woods' wife Elin Nordegren standing over him trying to help. They didn't suspect that his scratches on his face were caused by anything other than the crash.
The neighbor, Jerome Adams, is a retired physician and said that Woods appeared "woozy" after the crash. He told Woods not to move and put a blanket over him and a pillow under his head. One of the Adams children called 911.
Sharp said the Adams family had a "good relationship" with the Woods family and "they'd like to keep it that way."

If a man beat up his wife after uncovering an affair, we would still arrest him for DV. Why not the same for Tiger's wife who clearly whacked him with a nine-iron?
