It’s no secret that Tiger Woods has been in seclusion since that fateful Thanksgiving night when life as he knew it came to an end. However it was recently discovered by that Tiger is getting sex addiction counceling at Pine Grove Behavioral health and Addiction Services, known as one of the nation’s most comprehensive treatment center located in Hattiesburg, Miss.

Sex addicts are involved in a variety of treatments, including cognitive behavior therapy, group therapy and a

treatment called ‘shame reduction.” Patients usually spend anywhere from 6 to 12 weeks in treatment, according to their website.

The clinic is directed by Dr.Patrick Carnes who is currently the Executive Director of the Gentle Path program at Pine Grove, he has pioneered treatment for sexually compulsive behavior, and is considered one of the best in the nation for sexual addiction.
Tiger is planning on returning to the PGA tour in the Spring, a source tells, and hopes to get his life back and stay focused. The source also adds that he is hoping that the treatment for sexual addiction will be taken as a strong message to everyone including his corporate sponsors that he is serious about wanting to change.

I hope it works for him. He has hurt his family so much. I hope they can forgive him. I'm not sure I could.

Elin demanded Tiger to get professional help for the benefit of the children. Rehab is only effective when a person is truly committed to change. Since Tiger seems to have entered rehab reluctantly his prognosis does not look good at all. I still hope that he be able to understand all the pain and suffering he has caused his mother, wife and children and change his behavior for good.
