On Jan. 23 Hip Hop Wired reports that Tiffany Foxx is making a new music video that will feature Lil' Kim and "Mob Wives" Carla Facciolo. The song is called "Jay-Z" and is about the friendship between the two when they were younger and still in the beginning stages of their careers. The song will ultimately pay homage to Jay-Z.
The song is expected to have several mafia ties, hence "Mob Wives" Carla Facciolo's part in the video. Lil' Kim has been friends with "Mob Wives" star Drita D'Avanzo for years, so it seems like no wonder that some of them would be cast in the video, but it seems unusual that Drita wouldn't have been the one cast in the video. Tony Testa, another featured rapper of the video also has mob ties since his uncle Joseph Testa was the head of the Gambino crime family.
Kim is reportedly doing this video for Tiffany, but it seems as if she has mostly taken over the project. Kim and Jay-Z used to be friends when they started in the business, but haven't spoken in quite a while. Many are wondering whether or not Jay-Z will be asking for a check when the video is released.
Does this mean that Jay-Z has mob connections as well since the song purportedly is mafia related?
