Tierra LiCausi, the season 17 villain of ‘The Bachelor’ has made a point of claiming that ‘men love her,’ and that she could be engaged if she wanted to be.
In a wetpaint.com exclusive dated Wednesday, Feb 13, it was confirmed that the ‘Tierraist’ is indeed engaged already. Yes, that’s right. She told us she has a ‘sparkle’…..and well now, her left hand has an obnoxiously huge sparkle. Since she was released from the show this week, you’ve likely figured out that her fiancé is not Sean Lowe.
Tierra’s brother Tyler stepped up to speak for his sister.
“Yes, she’s really engaged,” Tyler tells Wetpaint. “We’re all really happy about it.”
Of course the burning question of exactly who she is engaged to remained.
“I’m not sure he wants his name out there just yet,” says Tyler, “but I can tell you about him and how everything happened.”
Tyler went on to explain that she had been seeing this particular guy before ‘The Bachelor’ began, and that they have known each other for 3 or 4 years. The couple was even living together in Vegas, while Tierra worked for his family’s business.
“Unfortunately, they had a bad breakup,” Tyler told Wetpaint.
“When that happened, she moved back here to Denver and signed up to go on 'The Bachelor.' Right after she left to film, though, he had a huge change of heart and wanted to get her back. The only problem was he couldn’t reach her. Her phone was turned off. He kept trying and trying, but he couldn’t get ahold of her. That’s when he called my parents, who told him what she was doing,” continued Tyler.
While Tierra was scheming to win Sean Lowe’s heart, her future fiancé was stressing over her.
“When he found out she was filming The Bachelor, he did everything he could to try to get to her. He even called ABC to find out where she was filming so he could fly there. He was literally on his way to St. Croix the day he finally reached her. It turns out, that was the exact same day Sean let her go. When Tierra got to the St. Croix airport, she was given her phone back. She turned it on and the first call she got was him — telling Tierra he was on his way. She told him not to come, that she was on her way home to Denver. So instead of flying to St. Croix from Las Vegas, he flew to Colorado,” said Tyler.
“That was in November. They’ve been together ever since. He proposed in January. He picked up his whole life to move here for her. He has an apartment in Denver and they’re doing great,” he continued.
Brother Tyler also couldn’t help but comment on her ring. He said that the main stone is 4-carat yellow diamond, and that his sister loves it. He also added that the family is really happy that it is working out for her, and that they were saddened when the pair originally split.
So there you have it, ‘Bachelor’ fans. Though Tierra didn’t have the maturity or the social skills to survive on ‘The Bachelor’ as Sean Lowe himself stated…..there is however someone out there that wants to ‘wife her.’
There are always a lot of surprises during each season of ‘The Bachelor,’ and this case has certainly been no exception.
