Today Oct. 18, 2013 Wizards of the Coast revealed Tidal Force, one of their newest "Magic: The Gathering" cards from "Commander (2013 Edition)," in a media update to the image gallery of DailyMTG.com. This rare blue Elemental creature allows you to dominate the battlefield by tapping or untapping a permanent during every player's upkeep.

Creature - Elemental (Rare)
At the beginning of each upkeep, you may tap or untap target permanent."
Do not speak the name of the sea, for if it should hear you and rise up, no fortress in the world could hide you."
-Gimara of Halimar
Featured in the "Eternal Bargain" deck, Tidal Force can have a devastating impact on player's board positions. The larger a game, the bigger a threat Tidal Force can become. One option is to use Tidal force to tap down the biggest threats on the battlefield to prevent those creatures from attacking you. Another idea is to completely tap all the creatures of a specific player, leaving them vulnerable to everyone else who's playing. You can also strike out on your own and use Tidal Force to untap your army of creatures so you have defenders to block during combat.
One way to abuse Tidal Force is alongside permanents that have powerful abilities when when you tap them, allowing you to activate it every turn. There's a vast and rich 20 year history of creatures to tap with Tidal Force.
How will you use Tidal Force?
