Tickets on sale Oct. 18 for Aurora Dance Arts' production of The Nutcracker

Tickets go on sale Oct. 18 for Aurora Dance Arts’ performance of The Nutcracker, featuring some of the metro area’s burgeoning young dancers performing a holiday favorite on stage.

The production, which Aurora Dance Arts has performed biennially since 1989, draws talented dancers ages 6 to adult from dance studios across the Denver metro area. Sixty-eight young dancers are featured in this fully produced rendition of the beloved holiday classic. Performances of The Nutcracker will take place at 7 p.m. Dec. 10, and 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Dec. 11 at the Aurora Central High School Auditorium, 11700 E. 11th Ave.

Tickets are $10 for evening and $8 for matinee performances, and may be purchased at Meadowood Recreation Center, 3054 S. Laredo St., in Aurora. A Family Four Pack of tickets is available at a discounted price for both matinee and evening performances. For more information, call 303-326-8308.

Aurora Dance Arts is a program of the city of Aurora’s Cultural Services Division. This production of The Nutcracker is partially funded through the Scientific & Cultural Facilities District and a grant from Target.
