For those Chicago-based equestrians eager to see the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Normandy, France up close and personal – good news – tickets are now on sale.

The majority of tickets are for single sessions in one of the FEI Olympic disciplines of Jumping, Dressage, and Eventing. Tickets for competitions in the FEI non-Olympic disciplines are also available.

“No less than 210,000 have already been sold to both French horse enthusiasts and overseas visitors, who have bought more than 50% of the available tickets so far," said FEI Secretary General Ingmar De Vos. "The UK is topping the leader-board in terms of foreign sales, and is closely followed by the USA, Germany, Australia, Belgium and the Netherlands. We’re looking forward to sold-out venues in all the disciplines and to an unforgettable atmosphere in Normandy.”

Tickets for the individual Jumping Final – the Final Four with change of horses on Sunday, 7 September – will go on sale in April. Tickets will be attributed through drawing of lots on the basis of online registration.

For tickets, such as the Eventing cross country, the Dressage Grand Prix Freestyle to Music and the Driving marathon, visit the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™ 2014 in Normandy website (www.normandy2014.com) or apply though the event’s official Facebok page.
