The Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival will once again make Boise the third stop on its annual tour of metal madness. Shock rocker Rob Zombie will once again co-headline with Five Finger Death Punch. Both appeared on the 2010 bill. Georgia's down-tuned sludge groovers, Mastodon return for the first time since 2008, and Viking metal lords, Amon Amarth make their long-awaited and much anticipated debut in 2013 to close out the Main Stage.
This year Mayhem returns for its sixth festival bringing four stages:
The tenured Jagermeister Stage will play home to fan favorites; Machine Head, along with Job For a Cowboy, Butcher Babies, Battlecross and Huntress.
The newly anointed Musician's Institute Stage will play home to; Finland's Children of Bodom, Poland's Behemoth, Emmure, Born of Osiris, Motionless in White, and Thrown Into Exile.
Sumerian Records returns for its second year with the Headbang for the Highway Stage which will showcase City in the Sea plus three local opening bands, giving each city a chance to showcase its own talents.
Tickets for the Tuesday, July 2 event go on sale this Friday, March 22 at 10AM.

Mayhem Festival will once again be held at the Idaho Center Ampitheater in Nampa. Gates are scheduled to open at 1:00 PM.
