Tickets available now for SAVE Animal Shelter’s annual Gala and raffle

Mark your calendars now for the 13th Annual Gala Benefit taking place Saturday, May 4, 2013 hosted by SAVE, A Friend to Homeless Animals, Princeton, New Jersey. The benefit will take place from 6:30-11 p.m. at the Princeton Airport.

It’s going to be a fun-filled evening full of surprises. This year’s theme is “The Great Catsby” (as told by Doggie Buchanan). Every year the venue is transformed into a festive evening of cocktails, dinner, music and dancing on behalf of the animal shelter.

Included on the evening’s agenda this year is a live and silent auction as well as a 50/50 raffle.

“The SAVE family works tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of many deserving pets - from cleaning cages, to walking dogs, to socializing the animals in residence, to working special events,” said Piper Burrows, executive director of SAVE. “In this economic downturn, SAVE is depending on the community at large to support the dogs and cats in residence.”

Even if you cannot attend the Gala this year, perhaps you still want to buy a ticket for the 50/50 raffle. The price of each 50/50 raffle ticket is $10, and the drawing will be held at the Princeton Airport. The winner need not be present to win.

For more information and to purchase your Gala and/or raffle tickets for the event, please call 609-924-3802.

Proceeds from the Gala will support the shelter’s six core programs of Rescue, Shelter, Health and Welfare, Spay/Neuter, Adoption and Humane Education.
