Tickets are still available for SNKC Spay-Ghetti Dinner

Dinner, dancing and an auction are among the planned activities at next month’s Spay & Neuter Kansas City Spay-Ghetti Dinner.

The fundraiser is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22 at the Dan Meiner Studio (2500 W. Pennway, KCMO). Brio Tuscan Grille is providing the dinner. Serving as master of ceremonies will be Channel 41’s Keith King, while local radio personality Tanna Guthrie will lead the auction.

SNKC has spent the past decade providing spay/neuter services in KCMO. Last year, SNKC spayed or neutered more than 8,000 pets owned by low-income families. SNKC says its efforts have reduced intake at the KCMO animal shelter by 35 percent over a three-year period.

SNKC has also vaccinated more than 5,000 pets at its weekly walk-in clinic. Through the SNKC Pet Outreach Program, the organization has distributed more than 25 tons of pet food to pet owners in need.
