It's that time again, kids! FASHION WEEK! F/W 2014!

Fashion Week officially kicked-off February 6th of this past week.

The ice storms have not kept anxious, cabin-fever ridden New Yorkers at home! A Taste of Puglia brought out hundreds to escape the realities of the arctic blast with some delicious food and wine. Pavan spirits hosted a Sangria-tasting competition over at the Bowery Hotel and a benefit for the Alzheimer's Association also hosted a few events to get everyone "warmed-up" for Fashion Week!

The first show/presentation for FW began with Tia Cibani at the Prince George Ballroom. Guests were welcomed with Turkish Delight candies along with fresh mint, Moroccan tea.

The models at Tia Cibani elegantly displayed intricate detailed pieces with a jewel-tones and showed the entire collection four times within the hour so that press arriving throughout the presentation could choose their favorites. Fashion designer, Loris Diran was spotted at the Tia Cibani show!

Red Dress at Lincoln Center always brings out a huge crowd. Star Jones opened the show and is a huge supporter of the Red Dress campaign which was created in 2004 to battle heart disease in women.

Ireland Basinger Baldwin (gorgeous daughter of Kim and Alec) sported Donna Karan, Joan Jett rocked a sexy pantsuit in Catherine Malandrino, Joan Van Ark wore Mark Zunino and many other famous faces also graced the runway at Red Dress.

Tanya Taylor's show in the West Village featured the prettiest, girliest models yet. Flirty little numbers in silver with neon-details and a cool print with cameras were the superstars at Tanya Taylor.

Over at the coldest place on earth (and also one of the most picturesque) also known as Pier 59, General Idea warmed up the attendees with detailed, structured knits in grey's and blacks with some of really cool looking European male-models. The General Idea clothing line for men could easily been worn by women as well.

Rebecca Minkoff has really become popular. The show at Lincoln Center was packed! Lots of famous editors and nicely dressed fashionistas graced the crowd. Rebecca Minkoff's handbags are always a hit! Loved the bob haircuts on the models too.

The Lee Jean Youn was the most outrageous show so far! Models wore mysterious lace veils, spiky, high-heeled shoes and some really wild pieces! Assigned a front row seat to the Lee Jean Youn show was a real treat. The goodie bags featured seaweed snacks and Manic Panic pink hair color.
