The Tucson Museum of Art is hosting a Thuy & Rice Performance event on Thursday, September 12, 2013. The Thuy & Rice Performance features Vietnamese artist Anh-Thuy Nguyen. The performance is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the museum's lobby.
The Thuy & Rice performance is a nonverbal conversation about her own histories and experiences. Nguyen uses a variety of mediums to explore her history, family, and cultural identity. The themes of the performance include relations between food and love as well as the concepts of control and punishment.
