The best potential for showers and thunderstorms will be over central and southern New Jersey. The strongest thunderstorms will feature heavy downpours, frequent lightning, small hail, and wind gusts over 30 mph. Winds will be from the northwest at 5 to 10 mph. Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid 80's for highs this afternoon.
