Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook’s time table for his return was four to six weeks, but it looks like he will return much sooner than that. According to ESPN on Nov. 3, Westbrook will make his return tonight in the team’s third game of the season. Here is a look at how fans can cover the Thunder vs. Suns live stream for Westbrook’s return.
- Date: Nov. 3
- Time: 7 p.m. EST
- TV: NBATV
- Live Stream: NBA League Pass
Westbrook tore his meniscus in the 2012-13 playoffs series with the Houston Rockets. The Thunder finished off the Rockets but couldn’t move any further without their All-Star point guard. In the first two games of this season, the Thunder barely beat a rebuilding Utah Jazz and then was blown out by the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Westbrook underwent surgery in October and was not supposed to be back until early December, so it almost looks like the Thunder are rushing him back. Fans have to hope that Westbrook is really ready to return because trying to win these early games will mean nothing if he is re-injured and misses the rest of the season.
While the news had not been confirmed by any member of the Thunder team, the team’s official site tweeted out the news within the past five minutes. Russell Westbrook is returning to the court for the Thunder vs. Suns live stream of the game tonight.
