Tonight is Game 7 of the Round 1 series between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Memphis Grizzlies. The Grizzlies will face the Thunder without their star player Zach Randolph because he was suspended after throwing a punch in Game 6, according to a May 2 Sports Illustrated report. This news has certainly made the Thunder the favorites to win this Game 7 matchup that will take place tonight in Oklahoma City.
This final game of what has been an outstanding series is set to tipoff at 8 p.m. EDT. The game will air on live TV, and if you are unable to catch it live, you should be able to view it via live stream video. If all else fails, you can catch it on ESPN Radio on Sirius XM or local radio stations.
The Thunder started out this series as favorites to win. However, the Grizzlies took them to an NBA record four overtime games in a playoff series. Game 6 in Memphis was do or die for the Thunder, and Oklahoma City came through led by Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. They beat the Grizzlies by 20 points, which was the largest margin of the series. The only other time the OKC squad had looked so dominant in this NBA Playoff Round 1 series was in the first half of Game 1 in OKC.
Added to the Grizzlies pain is the fact that Mike Conley left Game 6 with a minor hamstring strain. Even if he is healthy enough to play in Game 7 in Oklahoma City, he likely will not be at 100 percent. Without Zach Randolph, and with Mike Conley's health in question, Memphis's hopes of upsetting the Thunder in Round 1 are fading fast. Also, according to ESPN, Tony Allen, who has been incredibly disruptive to Kevin Durant will play Game 7 even though he was suffering eye problems early today. This could help the Grizzlies.
Tonight's Thunder vs. Grizzlies matchup will air on TNT starting at 8 p.m. EDT. The game will be available via live stream video through Watch TNT, but you will have to have a valid cable or satellite subscription login to get access to this OKC vs. Memphis live stream tonight.
