Game 1 of Round 2 of the 2014 NBA Playoffs featuring Thunder vs. Clippers will air on live TV tonight from Oklahoma City, according to a May 5 NBA.com report. This game will be available on TV throughout the U.S., and if you are unable to catch it on the boob tube, then you can watch it via live stream video on your computer, tablet, smartphone, or other streaming media device.
The Thunder finally beat the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 7 with a score of 120-109 after a hard-fought series. The, there are the Clippers, who also had a hard-fought series against the Golden State Warriors as well as some incredibly negative press with their owner during Round 1 of the 2014 NBA Playoffs. Both teams have not had much time to prepare and transition to Round 2, but rest assured these professional basketball players will pull it off. This is what NBA playoff basketball is.
Throughout the regular season the Thunder and Clippers split their series 2-2, which means that this should be yet another fabulous series from the Western Conference. The matchup of the Thunder's Russell Westbrook and the Clippers' Chris Paul should be a great one to watch. Meanwhile, former OU Sooner Blake Griffin and Serge Ibaka will also be an interesting matchup throughout this series.
This series is expected to go to seven games as well, and OKC will have a tough time using a smaller lineup against the Clippers' larger lineup, which could ultimately cause a problem. Of course, in franchise history, the Clippers have never appeared in a conference finals series. Will this be their year, or will MVP Kevin Durant and the Thunder end up going all the way? Many people feel this is the year for the Thunder.
Tune into Thunder vs. Clippers at 9:30 p.m. EDT on TNT. If you are unable to watch on live TV, you can catch the live stream video on TNT Overtime.
