The Republican Party has the misfortune of the bulk of their base consisting of angry, aging and in denial about their racist tendencies white folks. The GOP seems destined to never decorate the White House again. While the recent race in Mississippi served as evidence that it is possible to sway the Democrats most fervent base--blacks--to vote red, the battleground for votes in the future will be with Hispanic voters, and it is becoming a question if the GOP could possibly screw this up any more than they already have. With the darlings of the Tea Party calling for the impeachment of the president with nothing more than the fever stemming from their guano-inspired ideology and Boehner's lawsuit, one cannot help but wonder who is the self-hating masochist responsible for advising the GOP and if that person is secretly a Democrat.

One wishes to pity the real republicans, but this is what happens when you let the crazy cousins run the family reunion.
