Throw The Fight plays Taste of Minnesota on July 2

The Minneapolis-based rock band, Throw The Fight is set to play the Taste of Minnesota Main Stage on Thursday, July 2 at 12:30.  Throw The Fight will be sharing the Main Stage with several other musical acts including, fellow Minneapolis-based band Quietdrive, Halestorm, Chevelle and Staind.

 “The 2009 Taste of Minnesota has a great line up of musical acts and we’re thrilled to be a part of it,” said guitarist, Ryan Baustert.

At the Taste of Minnesota the band will be playing tracks off of their debut album, In Pursuit of Tomorrow, as well as new material off of their upcoming album due out in late 2009.

Throw The Fight is no stranger to playing in front of large audiences.   The band has played Vans Warped Tour, Taste of Chaos and opened for bands such as Drowning Pool, Avenged Sevenfold, Buckcherry, Lost Prophets and for the former lead singer of Poison, Bret Michaels. 

The Taste of Minnesota show will be the band’s first show since vocalist, James Clark, underwent surgery after being diagnosed with testicular cancer in early June.
