Throw A Super Bowl Party For Less

Sunday is a big day for Colts fans.  It is Super Bowl Sunday and Hoosiers all over the state will be cheering for a Colts victory. Super Bowl parties are probably the least fussy, most unpretentious party you can host all year. So, have fun with it and keep it inexpensive.  Here are a few tips on how to throw great a party for less.

  1. Invitations - The best way to handle invitations is with a simple Evite.  These invites are free and they have cute Super Bowl specific designs.  If you feel inclined you can also make your own, but just remember that postage is $0.42 per invite.
  2. Decorations - Looking for party decorations?  Look no further than Party Tree in Carmel and Fishers.  They have all the blue and white utensils, dishware and decor you're looking for.  Another great place to visit is Hobby Lobby in Carmel.  Here you will find cheap party treats, invitations and decorations to make your party a hit.
  3. Food - Super Bowl snacks are usually where people find it hard to keep costs down.  However, this can be done very easily by hitting up the frozen food section or keeping it simple with chips and dip type appetizers.  Check out this Examiner.com blog for other delicious recipe ideas.  Find great deals and stock up on all the essentials at your local Kroger.
