Ok, so it’s that time of year again, we’re all now back at work or school, the sugary drinks, the alcohol, and the other various junk foods and unhealthy foods and drinks have all been consumed, and your clothes look decidedly smaller and tighter on you, than they did a few weeks ago. Drink more water – If you want to get fitter and healthier, as well as lose weight, then you need to cut out sugary drinks, and replace them with good old fashioned water instead. Water contains so many different health benefits, making it essential for anybody looking to get in shape. It’s perfect for aiding weight loss because it contains zero calories, making it completely fat free. Not only that, but it keeps your muscles hydrated, it boosts your metabolism, it keeps your vital organs working properly, and much more on top of that. Aim to drink between 2 and 3 litres of mineral, or filtered water every single day.

Become more active – People think that in order to lose weight, they need to exercise in the gym or on a running track perhaps, but that isn’t the case at all. The truth is that doing any form of activity that gets your heart rate up, is a great way of burning calories, and getting more exercise. If you enjoy working out in a gym, then great, go ahead, but if you don’t then there is still plenty to do. You could go for a walk, do some cleaning, go swimming, play games with friends and family, or even exercise in your own home.
