Three Valentine's Day wines to make your sweetie swoon

I had the pleasure of sampling three very different, budget-friendly wines, perfect for Valentine’s Day!  These wines are all unique and are great for different palates, and all present beautifully for your sweetie.  Find out more below and look for them at your local wine shop, like Shaw's Wine Market in Back Bay.

Chateau Bonnet Rosé (14.99) – This rosé is very soft, in the French style, and may not be for everyone.  The floral characteristics of this wine make it a great French rosé, and it’s pretty pink color is the perfect touch to woo your sweetie. Drink it with a bold, spicy or sweet dish.

Georges Duboeuf Fleurie (15.99) – This red is 100% Gamay grapes, which lends to its deep red color.  This wine had a lovely caramel nose and a soft fruity flavor, which speaks to its French evolution.  Drink it with a hearty meal and enjoy its delicious yet subtle flavors come through. 

Yellow Tail Sparkling Rose (9.99) – This beautiful pink wine is a wonderful choice for those looking for an alternative to champagne.  It is slightly sweet, very light in flavor, and has just the right amount of bubbles.  Drink it with just about anything this Valentine’s Day.
