There is still time to visit the awesome art at the Laguna Beach Art-A-Fair which has been delighting visitors since June 27. When you come plan on spending the day as there is so much to see. Visitors can walk among the artists as they create another masterpiece and learn where they are from, as many of them come from other parts of the United States and even other countries.

The beautiful creations are also on sale, they include many different mediums - oil paintings, watercolors, acrylics, digital art, photography, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, glass, and wood. On the weekends entertainment is added and when it is time for something to eat you can do so at 'Tivoli Tool', which is right on the grounds of the Art-A-Fair. Purchase a Season Pass that gives entry to two of the three festivals while saving you money.

Art-A-Fair Season Pass - Adults $7.50; Seniors, Military and students $4.50, Groups of 20 or more $4.50. Children under 12 years free with an adult, and residents of Laguna Beach are free with a valid ID. The one time admission price gives admittance for the duration of that years show

This festival has been rated one of the top five, by American Style Magazine. At it's setting in a eucalyptus grove in Laguna Beach, there are more than 200 local artists exhibiting their ware from a wide range of artistic media. Visitors walk along the sawdust paths to the booths that line the many lanes with displays of what they make on sale.

Among the many things to do are classes where you can create your own piece to share or wear, participate at the hands-on demonstrations booths, or watch the glass blowing masters perform at the glass blowing furnace enclosure.

The Festival of Arts & Pageant of the Masters' is an annual affair that takes place from late July thru Aug 30. The Festival of the Arts dates back to 1941 while a less commanding Pageant of the Masters, under another name, began in 1932. Both events have been linked together over the years and have become one of the leading summer attractions in Laguna Beach.

The art show is open daily from 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m, with many forms of media such as paintings, photography, sculpture, ceramics, glass and more, on display by 140 of Orange County's finest artists .

The Pageant of the Masters is performed at night at 8:30 p.m, it is a unique performance where real people recreate 'living pictures' using costumes, special lighting effects, live narrations and an orchestra, in an outdoor amphitheater. Each year a different theme is chosen, real people, usually residents of Southern California volunteer to be in the performance, which this year is "The Art Detective".

Tickets to the Pageant of the Masters, give free admission to the Festival of Art as well, making it a pleasant and enjoyable way to spend the day in Laguna Beach. For those visitors who prefer to stay overnight or longer there are many types of accommodations to be found in Laguna Beach, just be sure to book early as this popular event gets filled up quickly.
