Three Survive Helicopter Crash in Guadalupe Mountains

NEAR PINE SPRINGS, TEXAS - A Texas Parks and Wildlife helicopter made a hard landing on Thursday afternoon near the Guadalupe Mountain National Park.

According to Parks and Wildlife Officials, the helicopter made the hard landing five miles southeast of Pine Springs, Texas around 4:30 p.m. CDT.

A pilot and two Parks and Wildlife biologists were on board the helicopter conducting a wildlife mission. All three persons on board survived the crash and suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The Federal Aviation Administration will be investigating the hard landing on Friday.
