FIRST - Set Goals for you, your family and your career. It is amazing how many people never set goals. Is it possible this is why it is less crowded at the top? These are goals for you personally, your family from your perspective and for your career. It is absolutely critical these goals are written out in long hand. You might consider purchasing a journal and write these goals out in your journal. Always place the date at the top of the page you are writing on when you utilize your journal. When you think about setting goals try to remember, if you do not have a goal which is set, then where are you heading and how will you know when you get there?
SECOND - Create a life style built for success: strive to live life and strike a balance with work , get your sleep and eat a healthy diet. This is one tip, as it is in the same category. You become much more effective, productive and motivated when you lead a healthy life style. The people who do not strike a work life balance which they hold to the majority of the time, often find themselves to feel stressed out at work and at home. They are always tired and some just become burned out. The ability to sleep well for at least six to eight hours each night will do wonders for you and your disposition. The type of food you eat, how much you consume and when you eat your meals has proven to have a huge impact on your health, your mood and your general health.
THIRD - Show up each and everyday with a winning and positive mindset and attitude. This may come to you naturally. If not, work on this now, immediately. You want to smile early and often. Do not pre-judge people. Start with the assumption that people are all filled with positive attributes. Do your best to see these and find them.
