A fight at a nightclub Sunday morning in Athens ended with three people stabbed, including the security guard who tried to stop it.

So far, no one has been charged in the incident and police have not said what prompted the fight or how many people were involved.

Around 2:05 a.m., officers responded to the club on Commerce Road where they found the three wounded, according to Athens-Clarke County police.

“Dominique Hubbard and Reggie Chapman were both stabbed during a fight,” Sgt. Mark Pulliam said. “A security guard for the club, Donell Wells, was also stabbed during this incident while trying to break up the fight.”

Police have not released any details about their injuries and their conditions were unknown late Sunday.

Two people were shot at a club early Sunday morning in south Fulton County, and police hours later said they were still trying to determine what happened.

Around 7 a.m., officers responded to Rocafella’s at 5299 Old National Hwy. after getting a 911 call that multiple people had been shot, Fulton County police said.

When officers arrived, they were only able to confirm that two people were shot, police spokeswoman Detective Melissa Parker said.

One person was in serious condition at the hospital while the other was stable. Police have not released any details regarding their injuries.
