At 12 years of age, a petite Chihuahua named "Georgy," has found herself in the precarious position of being inside of a high intake animal control facility in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Georgy, who weighs in just shy of three pounds, has been at the New York Animal Care and Control facility since May 31, and right now, she is in the "super urgent" photo album on the Urgent Death Row Dogs Facebook page...Georgy's "due out" date is on Tuesday, June 3.

The following medical notes are from the facility:
