Highlights

For nearly five decades, SeaWorld has surprised and amazed guest with unique entertainment, thrilling rides and up-close encounters with marine animals.

1. Take the Atlantis ride, a water-type coaster. Journey to Atlantis is an edge-of-your-seat watercoaster, part water ride, part roller coaster. This thrill ride plunges guests into the middle of a clash for the lost city of Atlantis. Riders encounter spine-tingling thrills, including two of the steepest, wettest and fastest drops to be found at any theme park in the world.

2. Visit the dolphins in their environment. Dolphin Cover showcases one of the largest interactive dolphin pools in the world. Check daily listings for feeding times. When trainers warn visitors about getting wet, heed their warning. It will happen when frisky and friendly dolphins wag their tails onto the water to spray guests.

3. Schedule a time to watch One Ocean, a show designated to showcase whales. Sit in the splash zone. Make sure your camera is water proof and put away your camera phones. The crowds shout their oooohhs and aaahs throughout the show when the whales make a jump. Crowd participants are waiting to get wet as some wear plastic rain gear or others sit far away from the bottom of the seats (also known as splash zone). Dancing fountains, skilled trainers and global rhythms complete the show, highlighting the killer whales.
