Three new videos show Planned Parenthood coaching ‘pimp’

On Friday Live Action released three new videos of Planned Parenthood employees counseling an undercover “pimp” in Roanoke, Falls Church, and Charlottesville, VA clinics.  Live Action reports that these tapes “clearly show [Planned Parenthood] staff willing to aid and abet the sexual trafficking and exploitation of minors and young women.”  The tapes are unedited and can be viewed on blip.tv.

Disturbing pattern

Live Action claims these incidences are part of a wider problem.  “This latest footage provides more evidence of a clear, disturbing pattern of gross misconduct by Planned Parenthood.”

Two of the clinic workers referred the man posing as the manager of underage prostitutes to the health department to save him money.  Services at the health department are free.

The Falls Church employee informed the pimp: “We don’t necessarily look at the legal status, like I said. Abortion appointments do require photo ID. It’s
nothing as far as records. It’s just photo ID that’s ever going to be
required.”

Nobody’s business

From Roanoke: They, you know, don’t
 tell people what’s going on, because – frankly – it’s nobody’s business.”

Your tax dollars at work

Planned Parenthood received $362 million tax dollars in one year, which is roughly one third of their budget.  Live Action President Lila Rose spoke out about her expose of the government-funded agency:  “Our investigation – and their response – continues to show that an institutional crisis has engulfed the highest levels of Planned Parenthood. If you’re a sex-trafficker of minors or young women, you have a partner in Planned Parenthood. But if you are a minor or a young woman, you are not safe at Planned Parenthood clinics.”

Safe?

Is Planned Parenthood about women’s rights or selling sex?  Vermont’s chapter, Planned Parenthood of New England offers online advice to teens on several issues, including emergency contraception, (the morning after pill) which you may want to use if, “You were forced to have unprotected vaginal sex.”  Most people call this rape.  Vermont teens are assured, “Affordable EC is always available at Planned Parenthood — and if you're 17 or older you can get it without a prescription.”  Their website notes that “Teens 17 and under can still get it with a prescription.”

Is PP teaching minors to be safe or to have sex?  Submit your comments below.

Providing services that protect the health of all women is the responsibility of Planned Parenthood. In order to do this, moral judgment must be restrained. This is what I see in these videos: providers ensuring that the most vulnerable women in our society receive the care that they need in a safe environment. Period.

So you're saying a 17-year-old hooker will create a wonderful, caring home for this child? Or should we support homes that statistically proliferate more dysfunctional people that further create the need for these discussions? I also find it ironic that a conservative is complaining about people making money. Don't you guys live to create cash flow no matter the means?

So you support young women to go work for these pimps without any protection whatsoever. Good call.

The whole point of Live Action's expose is that these underage girls need protection from human trafficking.  Curing an STD then sending them back out on the street with a pimp is not the way to treat minors.  Sure, treat the STD, but call the police and get real care for these teens.

About a month ago, I didn't have health insurance and I had a possible urinary tract infection. There was absolutely no avenue through which I could get a laboratory test and medication. Planned Parenthood was the ONLY way. I didn't go there for anything promiscuity-related. I went there because I was a young woman with a possible medical complication that I couldn't take care of unless the US government's tax dollars stepped in. I'm usually employed. I'm college-educated. I don't believe in relying on welfare - in fact, I have NEVER applied to unemployment or welfare to this day. But for a month, I was in between jobs. And I was a young woman with few connections. I didn't have a sugar daddy to pay for a doctor visit. So I am effing glad that I could get treated because we have these free medical services at Planned Parenthood. Moral or bureaucratic abuses should be corrected, but they should NOT legitimize a right-wing assault on a service that is potentially the ONLY safeguard many young, impoverished Americans have today between them and infections/illness. I will be very, very upset and angry if this article is part of some twisted politically conservative cause to cut out fiscal excess and blame the "minorites and young women who don't have jobs and leech off white american's hard-earned tax dollars." I'm white, but I needed their services at a time, and do not think it is excess whatsoever.

Live Action is not exposing PP for treating STDs.  The point is that when they are informed of 14 and 15 year old girls caught in a human trafficking ring, PP only treats the STD or pregnancy.  They don't help the girl to escape from a life of prostitution.  They care about the STD, but not the actual young girl.

No one is attacking PP for treating urinary tract infections.

This group, live action, has already been discredited when they attacked ACORN. They are dishonest and should not be trusted or believed by anyone in their right mind.

James O'Keefe is the one who busted ACORN which led to an investigation.  Didn't Congress defund ACORN after learning about ACORN's wrongdoings?

Live Action is not the same organization.  Will Congress defund Planned Parenthood after investigating?  We'll see.
