These are three different tablets for different needs. One might be just what you need for the last minute gift. And yes, they are all Androids.

For a family tablet, there is the VINCI MV Family Tablet which is a 7-inch Android 4.1 tablet designed specifically for families with young children up to nine years old. VINCI MV comes pre-loaded with five VINCI Curriculum apps, Kids Library app samples and 12 VINCI music video titles. Additional Curriculum apps are available for purchase through VINCI Kids Library at www.vincigenius.com.

"VINCI MV is the ideal family tablet because it offers parents all the features of an adult Android tablet, including email, Skype and Google Play, but it can be safely shared with children," said Dr. Dan Yang, creator of VINCI. "The VINCI family tablet is affordable, rugged and provides children access to award-winning content that is fun, educational, age-appropriate, safe and commercial free."

Also included with the VINCI MV are a leather case, travel charger, USB cable and earphone with microphone.

For your viewing pleasure, Hammacher Schlemmer introduced The No Glasses 3D Tablet, the only mobile tablet that displays 3D movies and images without glasses.

The No Glasses 3D Tablet uses the Android 4.1 operating system, provides 1080p HD resolution, and communicates with other devices via Bluetooth. It also has two cameras—a rear 2 MP for stills and video and a front 0.3 MP for video calls.

The third Android Tablet is the LG G Pad 8.3 from LG Electronics (LG) which will be the first device ever to be designated a Google Play Edition tablet. Google's first Android Open Source Project (AOSP) tablet will feature the latest Android operating system, Android™ 4.4, KitKat®.

"LG's working relationship with Google has always been strong and our collaboration on the first-ever Google Play Edition tablet is proof of that commitment," said Dr. Jong-seok Park, President and CEO of the LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. "The LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition is a device with hardware and software that has been optimized for a truly consumer-friendly experience. There's nothing else like it out there in the marketplace."
