Three more advertisers release Super Bowl spots early

The Super Bowl's just short of a week away, and another three Super Bowl advertisers posted their commercials on YouTube today.

Even though Super Bowl air time costs a record $3.8 million for 30 seconds, a surprisingly high number of advertisers, including Toyota in the spot below, are splurging on :60s.

  • Taco Bell – In a ripoff of "Cocoon," geriatrics act like wild and crazy teenagers. After most of the commercial shows their antics, they go to Taco Bell mere seconds before the end. (When you click the link, you'll see a Toyota commercial in the pre-roll, but you've come to the right place.)
  • Toyota – Kaley Cuoco from "The Big Bang Theory" plays a genie who grants a RAV-4-owning family their wishes – sorta.
  • Hyundai – You should buy a Sonata Turbo because it can pass other vehicles on the road.

Gee, at this rate, the only thing new to see on the broadcast will be the game itself.
