Every year, the 25 Under 25® Legacy Award pays tribute to a local leader who's made a lasting contribution to Kansas City's entrepreneurial community.

This year's Legacy Award has been given by Thinking Bigger Business Media Inc. to three individuals:

  • Bert Berkley of Tension Corporation
  • William H. Dunn Sr. of JE Dunn
  • Donald J. Hall of Hallmark.

According to the award presenters, these individuals are being celebrated for their work in helping found the Kansas City Minority Supplier Development Council, what's known today as the MidAmerica Minority Supplier Development Council. The council has helped an entire generation of small businesses to win business from the region's biggest companies.

You can honor the three champions of KC entrepreneurs by registering for the March 8 25 Under 25® Awards Gala, which starts at 6 p.m. at the Downtown Marriott’s Muehlebach Tower, Kansas City, MO.

The celebration is the only local awards program that exclusively honors companies with 25 employees or fewer.

  • Individual tickets cost $150.

You can also purchase a table of 10 for $1,500 and be listed in the event program as a table sponsor.
