Wilbur is looking for a Forever Home. This re-home is solely based upon the current owner's health. Wilbur was adopted from local veterinary clinic at 4 months of age. He is neutered, has an avid microchip, up to date on vaccines, and IS MISSING HIS FRONT LEFT PAW. But this does not stop him from getting around.
He is a 2 year old shar pei mix but does not have a shar pei coat and is a little larger than a Shar Pei. He was found over 2 years ago at just a few weeks old hit by a car on Kamehameha Hwy out near senator Fongs. His right hind leg was broken and his front left paw was paralyzed. The right hind was saved but his front leg was later removed once his hind leg was healed and out of the cast.
Wilbur enjoys giving and receiving affection, he is an independent soul. Special care needs to be taken with Wilbur in respect to the yard. Wilbur enjoys seeing what lies beyond the fence and his three legs are capable of bounding him quite far. He has never had the opportunity to be walked on a leash and with a short, daily jaunt around the yard, can probably be cured of this. Wilbur enjoys chasing cats, he currently lives with three cat and three dogs, he does not want to harm them, but enjoys scaring them senseless.
He will also come with his flea and heartworm preventative a bag of food, his leash and collar and toys. Please email for additional information Liz, Kahu-Doberman , uncropped_dobermans@yahoo.com
