This weekend Granby is hosting the 25th Annual 3 Lakes Ice Fishing Contest. In this three day competition participants can ice fish on the area’s three popular fishing lakes: Lake Granby, Shadow Mountain Reservoir and Grand Lake. Competitors can angle for the daily cash prizes totaling more than $6,000 per day, or go for the 3 Lake’s Grand Slam prize by nabbing a Kokanee, rainbow, brown and Mackinaw with the heaviest combined weight.
