You don't have to spend a lot of money to make a Valentine's gift for that someone special in your life. Tap into your creative side to make one of these fun and easy gifts that anyone would cherish.
Heart Bottle Arrangement
Glue a heart-shaped crocheted doily to the center of a medium clear vase. Add water to the vase, then dye the water pink or red using food coloring. Place of beautiful bouquet of flowers in the vase. Add a pretty bow to the center of the flower bouquet.
Paper Mache Box
Paint a heart shaped paper mache box red. Let dry. Attach small paper heart doilies on the lid and around the box. Carefully paint over the hearts with white or ivory paint. Carefully remove the doilies. The doily design should beautifully be stenciled on your box. Recycle old necklaces or bracelets by gluing the beads from these pieces to the center of each stenciled heart.
Paint a small wood heart ivory. Before the paint dries, sprinkle glitter, color of your choosing, on the front of the heart. Gently shake the heart to remove any loose glitter. Glue a pin back on the center, back of the heart. For added sparkle, glue a rhinestone to the center of the heart.
