Two women and one man were found fatally shot Thursday morning in a house on the city’s west side. The DPD is investigating, but will not reveal if they have a suspect.
The house was supposed to be vacant, but a woman and child were squatting there.
The home is located in the 11300 block of Coyle, near Plymouth and Greenfield Roads.
During Wednesday evening, neighbors heard shots coming from the house. Someone called 911, but the police did not come.
The next morning a friend went over at about 9:00 a.m. and found three bodies.
Two children, ages 1 and 5, were unharmed, but their mothers were dead. A young man had also been fatally shot.
All victims are in their 20s. Reportedly, the killer used a shotgun.
A friend of the dead man told WDIV-4 that he was not aware of any trouble the victim was in or why he was shot.
The police have no one in custody.
