Society Cabaret offers a pre-Mothers Day treat - three divas in one show, Saturday, May 10 at 8pm.
The divalicious event features three of the Bay Area's most popular talent.
The first diva, called the show's Soulful Diva, is none other than the popular Jason Brock, who has brought his amazing big voice in many shows, concerts and benefits in the area. Brock, who first rose to stardom as a finalist in TV's "The X Factor," has paid many a tribute to the divas of soul in many of his shows, easily earning the right to be in a show dedicated to divas.
The evening also includes Kathy Holly, or the International Diva. While a Bay Area performer, she likely earned the international title for her tributes to Edith Piaf and Marlena Dietrich. Holly also has become very popular in a mystery dinner theatre program. Further, Holly is also an accomplished band leader, proving her talents aren't limited to her stage presence.
Our final diva, Dorothy Donnell is the show's Classic Diva, likely due to her beautiful soprano voice that has been showcased in many show and benefit. You might have heard in the opera "Carmen" in San Jose or on TV's "America's Got Talent." And if you're at a horse show and you think you see her, you'd be right as she is looks familiar, it might be Donnell as she is also a horse trainer.
